I have tried referencing this ticket with no success. https://www.rsjoomla.com/forum/37-rsform-pro/23350-coupon-code-field-for-paypal-payments.html
I see they have a different script that should be used for the paypal plugin. Do I need to use specific code for your plugin?
if ($_POST['form']['radio'] == 'some-choice'){
$paypal = RSFormProPayPal::getInstance();
$paypal->args['discount_rate'] = 50;
}
Is there a way to have it setup so that if they type in a coupon code and its correct it shows the updated price immediately in the total field?
Is there a way to make it so if they type in an old code, or one thats not working it could have a message saying "CODE NOT VAILD" or something. Or if its an old code: CODE EXPIRED. I am not that interested in having different messages for different codes like if they are expired vs. if they are just not valid. I would be okay with just a single error message for the code not being valid if thats easier.
Also It seems like this may be a worthwhile plugin for you to develop. I would probably pay a few dollars for this. Perhaps you can just bundle it with your stripe plugin? Just a thought.
Thanks as always. Would you be okay with me posting the solution to RSjoomla.com or would you rather keep it here?
