Auto-publishing and Validation Explained
Trust your visitors and registered or not and moderate submissions (or not!)
YooRecipe comes with a built-in moderation system you can activate or not.
Terminology
- Auto-publish
- Toggle auto-publish on newly created or modified recipes.
- Auto-validate
- Toggle validation on newly created or modified recipes.
Tip: To be displayed, a recipe must be published and validated!
NS Recipe Validation & Publishing Options
By default, Auto-Publish is set to "On" and Auto Validate is set to Off. You can update these settings in NS Recipe's Options
Components > NS Recipes > Options > Recipe edition tab
Tip: Recipes can be filtered by status in recipe back-end screen.
Email Notification options are also available:
- Notify Admin on creation: if set, NS Recipes will send an email to the site admin stating a new recipe has been submitted.
- Notify User on validate: if set, NS Recipes will send an email to the recipe author when the moderator validated the recipe.
