NS Recipe Technical Requirements

Below you can find the hosting requirements necessary to use NS Recipe. If your hosting enviroment does not meet these minimum requirements we recommend finding a new host that uses up-to-date software.

Joomla:

3.7.3+

PHP:

5.6+ (PHP 7 Recommended)

Magic Quotes GPC must be disabled.

The Zip Archive and GD Library PHP modules must be installed on your hosting enviroment in order for XML import/export and image cropping features to be able to function properly

Database:

MySQL 5.5+ (InnoDB Support Required)  (Recommended)

or

MSSQL 10.50.1600.1+

or

MariaDB 10.0+

PostgreSQL: 8.3.18+

Web Server:

Apache with mod_mysql, mod_xml, mod_zlip: 2.x+ (Recommended)

or

Nginx 1.1+

or

Microsoft IIS 7+

If your hosting configuration does not meet the minimum requirements we cannot provide support if you have issues. It is very important that you keep your hosting and website software running on the latest versions. Not only do the latest versions contain bug fixes but they also contain security patches and help prevent your site form being easily hacked.
